Next Newcastle Manager

Every contender in the Next Newcastle Manager Betting seems to be drifting as the uncertainty over the future of Newcastle United continues. The club is up for sale and no potential buyer has been found yet.
King Kev The Favourite To ReturnThe favourite is still Kevin Keegan, who could still make yet another sensational return to St James Park. The best price that can be gained on King Kev is 7/4 with Blue Square yet SkyBet and William Hill still go even money.
Poyet Rules Himself Out - AgainFormer hot favourite Gus Poyet has again ruled himself out of the running today and he is now out to 6/1 with SkyBet. Poyet said: I think it is a little bit of a mess there at the moment, so it is not the right place for me.
Shearer Looking More Likely By The DayThe third favourite for the job is now fan’s favourite Alan Shearer who is 8/1 with Paddy Power and SkyBet. Any new owners wishing to gain the favour of the fans could appoint Shearer their new manager and be worshipped by the fans so he seems a decent bet at a good price.
Other ContendersEx Chelsea player Didier Deschamps has always been one of the front runners for the job but he is now out to 11/1 with Paddy Power in the betting. Wigan manager Steve Bruce gets linked with the Newcastle manager job every time it comes up and he is 16/1 with Paddy Power and SkyBet. There has been plenty of money for him in the last week or so.

21-year-old Lloris, who is regarded as one of the most promising young talents in France, has been watched by the top clubs in Europe and Serie A giants AC Milan are seen to be in pole position to sign him.
He told L'Equipe: "I am not closing the door to anyone.
"Lyon have continuity and they are in the Champions League as well. Milan are the Calcio and all that follows.

Bojan Debut Not A Priority

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has played down the importance of young Bojan Krkic’s debut this Saturday in their opening World Cup qualifiers and declared that the team’s interest will come first. Questions have been raised about del Bosque’s starting XI for his very first competitive outing with the national team. The injuries to attackers Fernando Torres and David Silva have opened the door for other players to make their mark and one of them is Bojan.
The recently turned 18 year old made the La Roja squad in the friendly against Denmark a few weeks ago but failed to make his debut on the pitch as he was not called upon.
The Spanish press are now interested if the teenager will get a glimpse of first team action this Saturday against Bosnia-Herzegovina in the World Cup qualifiers, but del Bosque was not too concerned about that.
“Bojan is just one of the 19 players that we have and we will use him if we need to. But whether or not he makes his debut is not a priority question,” revealed the 57 year during the team’s press conference.
Del Bosque acknowledged that the nation will head into the qualifiers with a big target on their backs as European champions, but he assured that he is well equipped to handle the situation.
“I am accustomed to the pressure. The team that I coached before was a team that everyone wanted to beat,” he remarked slyly, referring to his former club, Real Madrid.
“But we are our biggest enemy. We are conscious of what we have achieved in the past but the future starts tomorrow against Bosnia.
“It will be a long campaign but we have very little margin for error. We have to apply ourselves from the first minute,” he concluded.

The Premiership woke up this morning to a lot of excitement.
Everton fans were celebrating breaking their transfer record, West Ham fans were incredulous that they had sold half their defence without replacing them, Liverpool fans were “overjoyed” at signing two foreign 18 year olds to add to their increasing collection of foreign 18 year olds, Newcastle were celebrating signing a new striker by having some good old northern speculation over the manager’s future, and Arsenal were incredulous that Arsene Wenger’s new sleeping pills had made him sleep through the entire transfer window.
The most emotion was at Chelsea though, with reports that overnight their fanbase had halved. While the fans from more than about 5 years ago are generally pretty solid, there have been more and more ‘loyal’ supporters whistling nonchalantly and sidling up to Manchester.
